Transformative Voices

UCL ChangeMakers is a staff–student partnership initiative at University College London that supports collaborative projects designed to enhance the student learning experience

Transformative Voices is a student-led symposium and publication platform developed through UCL ChangeMakers, celebrating the voices of tomorrow’s architects. Open to all students at the Bartlett School of Architecture, it offers a space to question, articulate, and reimagine architectural education and practice through writing, dialogue, and public debate.

The initiative empowers students to act as agents of change—advocating for new values, addressing inequality, and shaping the discipline’s future. Through collective authorship and co-curated events, Transformative Voices amplifies underrepresented perspectives and builds a culture of critical, inclusive, and collaborative learning.
